Star it Down

Star it Down

Daily Reflection.

Surviving a full day usually makes you a little wiser.
There’s almost always one thing you didn’t know in the morning that you do by night.

Call it the wisdom of regret.

Regret shows up when you realize what you could’ve known, done, or said better.
It only visits after you’ve seen the better version.

We all collect these moments.
And by the end of the week, we’re carrying a whole bag of them.
But most of us toss the bag aside, calling it “baggage.”

But it’s only baggage if you think it’s useless.

it’s not.
Let’s put our daily learnings to work.

Star it down.

The Method (2 steps):

  1. Draw a star at the top of the page.
  2. Write the lesson your morning self didn’t know the one you’d go back and teach them.

That’s it.

Also, Why the Star?
Because when people got lost, they looked to the stars to find their way home.

thanks.

“The darker the night, the brighter the stars.”
— Fyodor Dostoevsky
